      ● 03-28-2006 GVP James Brown of the Midwest Territory has announced his retirement effective July 1, 2006.  Many of you will remember Brother James Brown attended our two previous awards dinners in Local Lodge 623.

     Brother James Brown was the Directing Business Representative for several years in District Lodge 9 in St. Louis, MO prior to becoming the General Vice President of the Midwest Territory. We will certainly miss Brother Brown’s compassion for the average working person and dedication to the principles of good trade unionism. 

      We congratulate Phillip Gruber the current Administrative Assistant under Brother Brown who will replace Brother Brown on July1, 2006.
